Group shots are a great way to show it all off. Technically speaking its when 2 or more products shot in the same scene.  Though if need be 2 or more shots can be composited into 1 shot with some photoshop magic. Aesthetically though they are a great way to display a series of images or products.  And also a great way to showcase the broad range of your brand. This option can be good if you want to show multiple colors or a certain product in 1 image or to show off multiple different products in 1 shot. 

Group shots are priced differently because essentially the production can be double or more of a single product. Propping a posing as well as steaming all take time. The post production of a group shot also takes a lot longer. Retouching five items vs retouching one takes five times as long.
